Home Run!

You've most likely heard the rave about 'OLED' tech already, with its inky blacks and great clarity. The LG C2 (the 77" in my case) most certainly does that (plus much more!).
In our household we usually stick to a pretty tight budget when it comes to larger ticket items, this time we wanted to really spoil ourselves - we wanted to feel like we're right into the action of whatever show or movie we are watching - and boy o boy does the C2 77" deliver.
Non-surprisingly any 4K content looks amazing. Like, inexplicably sharp and detailed.
What did surprise me was the built in AI stuff that makes older shows or even free-to-air TV looks great too! Family and friends have complimented everything we've played, 4K or not.
The general daily driving of TV's tend to make or break the experience for us, and we we're plesantly surprised when testing out the usability.
Is the TV quick and responsive when you turn it on/off or change apps? big tick.
Do I need to worry about any burn in? nope, screensaver built in. tick.
How is the navigation through the menus? Brilliant and fast. tick.
Does it have all the "smart tv" apps and streaming services? Absolutely, tick!
If you're after a new TV, this should be at the top of your list. Extra points if you go the extra mile to wall mount it (which is very easy to do as its extremly light for such a large TV) and have the friends or family over for a viewing party. You wont regret it.
