Excellent for its Price…

Early impressions are good. I like the look and feel of the phone but, coming off a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra - I note the battery life is not quite as good as I'd like. The photo quality also is high but not quite as high. That said this phone is almost half the cost so let's move on.
I do have a gripe which targets all manufacturers at the moment - let us opt in for a charger at least at a discount if you refuse to include it? Or a swap program perhaps? With all of the improvements to fast charging - how many people do you think have a charger that can keep up?
My initial week time with the phone has been largely positive. I love the additional Pixel features, such as the sleep insights, the little suggestions and tips that pop up and the lack of software bloat. The phone is light, thin and beautiful to look at. HOWEVER - the metal frame around the lens is constantly gathering dust - particularly annoying on a black, glossy phone.
To stress, this phone is under $1000! A rarity for a phone with these specs. A similar spec iPhone or Samsung would be $100s more! What a bargain.
I also compared the specs between the Pixel and Pixel Pro and there are minimal differences - making this my pick for value. If you are in the market for a premium phone at a reasonable price. This is the phone.
