Pixel 7 Pro Obsidian 128 GB
No bloat, just pure Android…

The Pixel 7 Pro is a joy to use, pure and simple. It's quick, has a fantastic camera (see obligatory dog pic with perfect tones) and a clean bloat free version of Android.
Having come from an S22 Ultra, the spec sheet was pretty comparable. In some areas, the S22 Ultra had a higher spec, such as sound, screen and battery life. While true, you need to put it in perspective and consider how closely they perform from a hardware perspective, but remember that one is $500 cheaper than the other.
Having used the phone for about a month, the sound and screen didn't bother me as I use headphones 95% of the time and the pixel screen is fantastic out of the box. But what is more is what the pixel does better, which makes it a terrific value proposition.
Firstly, the native integration to google home, YouTube, Gmail, play store, hangouts, drive and all the other services I use daily for home, work and play.
Secondly is the camera, which is so good as a point and shoot, I don't even bother with the DSLR.
To round out the comparison, it just feels nicer to use. I have used Galaxy phones since the Galaxy S5, and I'm not sure I'll go back.
Great job google! Perhaps if there's any improvement left, it would be less drain when the screen or bright, but a software patch can definitely improve that.
Oh, also, the unboxing experience was very pleasant too.
