I think I'm a Pixel convert

I’ve been using Android phones for many years from other phone makers but this is my first Google Pixel phone and I think it’s a great mobile device. It’s priced as a mid range phone but has some great features that are usually found on other phones that cost a lot more.
Using the pure version of the Android OS is really refreshing with it not having another company’s software overlaid. The setup and transferring data was an easy process but resigning into apps is not the fun part.
The screen’s quality is clear, bright and even better if you turn on the 90hz refresh rate. A feature that I don’t think is found on many mid range phones. The fingerprint sensor and face recognition are responsive and seem to work well.
The cameras on previous Pixel phones have been known for taking great pics and the 7a phone is the same. The night sight feature is pretty impressive taking some clear pics in really low lighting. I’ve played around with the magic eraser feature with mixed results. Some great and some not so.
The seamless integration with other Google services makes it a great choice for me who is already embedded in the Google ecosystem. The call screening feature is something I have found very useful to answer calls from unknown/unregistered numbers.
The battery life has been just ok with it not lasting a full day with my level of current usage.
It’s a good phone overall and I think I’ll definitely consider Pixel phones when I need to upgrade.
