Good picture quality but…

Summary first, lots of both goods and bads but overall I don't see real value for the money.
Okay, let's talk about the goods first. TV setup was really easy, and it wasn't hard to set it up without reading too much into the manual/documentation. It offers extremely good picture quality. Vivid format really brings out the depth of colors in the pictures. Based on my experience with leading brand TV's I am also super happy with the OS and the on-board compute, it's fast and responsive. Application installation, opening, closing, switching is super quick which is really good to see.
Now the bad parts. Although picture quality is really good but it still has lot of screen glare which makes it bit uncomfortable while watching. Besides vivid picture format, you clearly see your shadow on the TV screen in all other picture modes. Also not happy with the product material and finishing. When I opened it up for the first time it looked like a cheap unknown brand TV. I am sure LG can do better as a leading TV brand in this space. Lastly, super unhappy with the design and layout of TV remote. Bulky remote with an ugly design. The layout is also not user friendly at all! who puts HOME key right below the VOLUME buttons? Now I have to look at the remote keys before I try to reduce the volume because I press the HOME key most of the times otherwise. It seems like buttons were just thrown on the remote instead of going through a proper UX design process.
Based on my experience so far, I think product is not worth at this price. Other products in the market at similar price offers much better value in comparison.
