OLED65G4
Market leading performance

After a ridiculous amount of time researching and testing new OLED TVs, the LG G4 is a joy to own and use, and deserves its position as a market leading product.
Good:
Gorgeous build quality. Looks and feels premium, especially wall mounted.
Picture quality is sensational, once you get the settings right. Find an online guide or adjust them for yourself. A little time investment here is richly rewarded. With decent quality source material and good settings it has a rich, detailed, almost 3D like aspect that is very impressive, but if you prefer to use the same settings whatever you watch then you're wasting money paying for options here you won't ever use. It's like buying a sports car just to go to the shops and back.
Incredible CPU power means it doesn't slow down of falter, no matter what settings you try out. I've never experienced that before from a 4K TV and it's a good feeling.
Sound seems fine, I'm not really a crank it up type person.
Bad:
Not cheap, but you get what you pay for here.
Getting 10 out of 10 picture quality requires slight user effort, as above. There's no magic setting that looks perfect for everything, you need to know the best mode for your content and then get the settings right for that mode and content combination. I also own a cheaper, recent model OLED from another manufacturer and it's relatively easy to get an 8/10 quality picture from for most content, but that's it. It also broke down several times within the first year and required numerous service calls, but that's another story.
The anti reflective coating works wonders on reflections obviously, but introduces a slight reddish, purple tinge that you need to adjust for. Look at a the reflection of white light in it with the power off to see what I'm talking about. Once you get the settings right then life is indeed good, but without them most images veer too red for my tastes, because of the coating. I've read dozens of reviews of this TV and none seem to mention this aspect which is odd.
