Bigger is better, sometimes!

Have been using the new tv for a couple weeks now and have been using it for a variety of applications. Netflix, live streaming on HD and gaming. There are a lot to like about this and a couple of dislikes. I will preface this by saying my previous tv was an OLed style 65 inch.
The pros: the move from 65 to 86 was pretty amazing. Size does matter! Immersive experience when watching tv and movies. The tv really comes to its own when in HDR mode or in gaming. 2024 technology really trumps 2019 technology in these respect.
The seamless setup from install to ready to go was pretty impressive and the performance on the Nintendo switch was pretty seamless
The cons: only really had 2 minor issues with the tv. When having 2 tvs going at the same time, the tv was having issues buffering while on Netflix. Unsure if that was the modem or processor but the other tv had less of an issue. The other one though, is while watching movies, the “true black” of the oled really shines out. For years I thought it was just a marketing ploy but the difference is apparent. In HDR and scenes in light, very good. Watching the Tv is a nicely lit room, perfect. Is it a make or break, for me, not so. But that’s based off individual usage.
Overall, I am happy I made the move. The size and the bang for buck really makes up for whatever deficiencies in the true black debate of oled vs LED.
