Picture quality and performance…

There are many TVs out there, but only a few are capable of delivering the right mix of amazing picture quality, fluid motion, great colour reproduction and a wealth of additional features that cater to other uses. Thankfully this TV delivers in spades, and its features can be appreciated by anyone, from casual TV watchers, serious film buffs, live sports fans and next gen gamers.
For discerning videophiles, the most important criteria is how accurately the TV reproduces images. OLEDs are known for superior black levels, picture quality and motion, and the C2 does as advertised. One surprise was how bright the TV actually was - many have said that OLEDs can't match the brightness of LEDs but I found it bright enough in all situations. Content playing in 4k was bright, sharp and crisp, and the HDR capabilities were evident, with nice contrast but very little bleed, and it never felt overbearing or overwhelming. As someone who really enjoyed top of the line plasma TVs, switching to OLED was an eye opening experience. Make sure to switch to Filmmaker mode to ensure perfect colour balance, as the standard profile feels a bit too cold and blue in tone.
Sports fans will find plenty to love with the C2 as well. It provides excellent motion without judder or stuttering, although I made sure to turn off the TruMotion motion smoothing to ensure we didn't experience that soap opera effect. The viewing angles of OLED are superior to LED, and those hosting sports parties won't be disappointed when your entire group of friends can see the action clearly.
Performance wise, the C2 is also no slouch. The menus are snappy, and the remote is a joy to use thanks to the motion cursor. The C2's SmartTV functionality is also pretty good, with most popular streaming apps running 4k and Alexa voice controls. The TV is missing a few apps (ie Paramount or TSN), so you may want to hang on to your streaming stick.
One of the most exciting aspects of the TV was also it's gaming performance, and it delivers as expected too. On the XBox Series X, it delivered crisp picture, and the addition of VRR and 120hz capability made games feel different over previous 60hz or less displays. It's hard to explain, but games that supported 4k120hz felt smoother. Of note is the excellent Game Optimizer feature, which gave even finer control when the tv was in game mode.
For casual TV watchers to the most hardcore user, this TV is sure to wow anyone and is a no brainer for anyone in the market.
