Additional Notes About the Testing Process
Tips for creating your profile:
- There are two ways you can create an account!
- Go to auria.care, select login in the upper right-hand corner, then select “Get Started”.
o After purchasing a kit, the order confirmation page will prompt you to create an account.
Tips for collecting your sample:
- The ice pack must be frozen for 12 hours prior to shipping your sample. Including the frozen ice pack is critical to making sure your tear sample is viable when it arrives at the lab.
- Due to the need to get the sample back to the lab within a certain time frame to ensure sample viability, please collect your sample and ship on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday.
Tips for returning your kit:
- There will be a prelabeled shipping mailer included in your Auria kit. After you collect your tear sample, place the sample tube in the sample bag, and place the sample bag, lab form and ice pack inside the thermal mailer, and seal the mailer. Do not remove internal cushion of the thermal mailer.
- Drop the mailer off at the shipping carrier listed on your return label.
Tips for receiving your physician-certified results:
- Once the sample has been received by the lab, your results will be available within 10 business days.
- You’ll receive an email notification from Auria when your results are available in your online account.
Tips for scheduling your clinical consultation:
- Once your results are ready, you'll be able to request a consultation with an Auria Breast Health Specialist (BHS) through your dashboard.
- You will receive an email from Auria notifying you of your scheduled consultation appointment time. You will also receive a 2nd email with specific details of the appointment such as the time, BHS’s name and the link to join the Teams Meeting. During the consultation, the BHS will review your results and the information you provided in your breast health survey.
