Samsung The Freestyle
Surprisingly easy!

From opening the box, the first thing that impresses with the Freestyle is the small size. It's very easy to handle, place and angle at a spare piece of wall or screen.
Starting it up with the easy to use remote is simple and a straightforward setup process gets the wifi connectivity set up, especially if you install the Samsung SmartThings app.
The interface is pretty fast to navigate and there's the usual selection of apps available, though it has the annoying habit of automatically starting the Comedy channel in the Samsung TV app automatically, no matter what setting I change for startup.
The picture is pretty good, nowhere near a TV replacement, especially in daylight (not even direct sunlight). I've seen some focus issues as well. But in a darker room, it looks much better. Having been spoilt with an OLED TV, the colours look good but the darks are not great.
The sound is surprisingly good and bluetooth pairing to an external speaker works quickly and easily. Bring on the warm weather!
Something that is very annoying is the comical length of the USB-C cable required for power. Having a very portable item that is tethered something like 2 feet from a wall socket is ridiculous and is obviously meant to encourage the purchase of the recommended battery pack (which doesn't seem available anywhere), or a powerfull alternative battery pack ,which I don't have...
Overall, for a small portable projector that's quick and easy to use, it's good. But don't expect it to be a TV replacement or anything like that!
