Samsung The Freestyle
Great to start with!

The idea and design of the Freestyle projector is great and I had high hopes for this device. Set up was easy and I was up and running in about 10 minutes (once everything had registered and downloaded). The picture quality is really good although I'm still not sure why 4K isn't supported as this seems odd for a device launched in 2022. However, there are a few issues. The included remote control is a little 'laggy' and response from the Freestyle isn;t as quick as I would have expected. Whilst you can control the Freetsyle form your phone I did not find the designed interface to be particularly well though out and is not useful for quick changes or general use of the Freestyle. The other issue is the screen size adjustment and keystone. In order to adjust the screen size you need to go back into the setting menu which means dropping out form whatever you were watching. I think a better design would be to have a designated button on the remote which would allow you to access the settings from within whatever app you were currently watching. The keystone which is how the device auto focusses and adjusts the screen is a great idea but this was the element I have had most of my issues with. Having set up the device for projection the keystone generally works well, but I have had multiple occasions were it suddenly adjusts the screen to make it 'wonky' or decides to change focus, making the image blurry. unfortunately the only way to then rectify this is to go bac into setting (see previous issues with this!) or to turn the device off and on again. This has been the most annoying factor and i would hope future firmware updates will be able to address this. Overall this has the potential to be a fantastic device but needs a little work in terms of making it more intuitive.
