Good product overall but…

I have been looking for a new cooker for a long time so was excited to finally get a new one. First impressions were that the appliance looked good, but was not overwhelmingly impressive considering the high price point - the oven dials and casing on the front of the oven look quite cheap.
First time using the induction hob I was impressed with the speedy heat-up times and the ease of changing the temperatures using the dials, as well as the touch panel option on the hob itself. I like the fact there is a timer for the hob but one of the massive downfalls is that there is no timer for the oven itself - the hob has to be in action for the timer to be used. I do a lot of baking so was quite disappointed at this. One feature I really like is the induction cut off if a pan overflows - when boiling vegetables I didn’t notice that the water had boiled over and was relieved to see that the hob had turned off automatically.
The 2 ovens seem to heat up very quickly and cook evenly, and I like the option of steam cooking in the main fan oven. However, the internal light in my oven has already stopped working which is extremely disappointing - as I mentioned before, I’m really into my baking so it’s key that I can see inside the oven to check on things. The main oven door is also very difficult to open so wouldn’t be good for an elderly person or those with mobility issues.
Overall I’m getting on really well with the oven but the niggles I have mentioned means that I’m not over the moon. If you can live with the lack of timer and if your oven light isn’t faulty, then I would recommend it for a well-functioning all rounder cooker.
