HP Smart Tank Plus 555 All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Printer
Decent enough printer

Got this printer last week and have to say I am quite pleased with its performance so far.
From the moment I opened the box you could tell they have taken the time to design and build a high quality product. It was very well packaged with its wee cardboard trays for ink and cables, yet really easy to get out with handles on both the polystyrene blocks and bag the printer itself was in.
The initial setup was a breeze, came with 3 bottles of coloured ink and 2 larger bottles of black ink all of which had non spill caps. A particular marvel for me was the alignment process, gone are the days of trying to see if line 5 or 6 is clearer. Just print the page, scan it in and let the printer do the work.
Once the plugging in and ink tank filling was done the rest of the setup can either be done on a pc or smartphone though the app. I chose the app and that too was easy enough to do, after logging in to my account the app found the printer and automatically connected it to the WiFi.
As far as print speed and quality goes again I can't really fault it. I have been testing it with a good variety of mostly text and full colour pages and the quality of prints are relatively good. It is not a terribly fast printer but then again very few inkjet printers are.
There are very few downsides to this printer. One was for the first twenty minutes after printing the alignment page the beeps and buzzes of the print heads finding their place nearly drove me batty however it hasn't done it since. The only other thing would be that I can't get it to print though the app while on another WiFi network as I thought it did but that's maybe me just being daft.
Overall this is I very well thought out printer with both people who work from home and busy families in mind.
