Great if you are short…

I have been using the j7 Roomba Combo (without the self-emptying system).
We live in a 4 storey house and I was a little worried that it wouldn't be as useful as in a more open environment but it's been pretty amazing! It quickly mapped out each level that I ran it on (wanders around a bit, occasionally bumping in to things) and now it quickly identifies what level it's on automatically and quickly, quietly (compared to our other vacuum) and efficiently cleans the floors, starting in the middle and finishing off going around the edges. It had no trouble when I later added a Christmas tree to the living room, just cleaning under and around it. It even sent me a picture on the app to ask if it was a temporary thing and offered to re-do that area if I moved it.
It does a great job of navigating around tables and under units where I would have trouble getting a regular vacuum (at first, I used to watch it, worried it would get stuck, but no problems so far).
The app lets you see the map and separate it in to rooms so that you can tell it to vacuum a particular room (the app also tells you what room it's currently in). I've set it up with Google Assistant / Google Home so that I can easily ask it to start or stop vacuuming when needed. This is particularly useful as I enabled the child-lock on the button on the Roomba, as I have 2 young children.
The mopping feature is reasonable but not excellent. It gives the floor a wipe, but doesn't "scrub". It may take a couple of runs over an area to clean dried up liquids, for example. I really like the way that the mop can lift up on top of the robot so that it can cross carpets without leaving a mess, though. It's great for dealing with levels with bathrooms and carpets, for example, where it will automatically mop the hard floors.
The dust container on the robot is quite small, particularly as the combo also has to hold some water for mopping. That was an issue the first time I ran it on each floor, as it was full before it finished, but this robot really works best when run regularly and subsequent runs picked up much less. If I had fewer levels in my house, I would consider getting the self-emptying base (this can be bought as an accessory for the j7 Roomba Combo, but is included with the j7+ ).
Battery life has been good -- I can do 3-4 floors on a single charge so I usually finish up on the floor with the base station, so it will automatically charge itself when it's done.
