Just a quick first overview, will write a more in depth one once I've had some time with it.
Shared unboxing photos on my Facebook page, here:

Tried uploading them directly to The Insiders but nothing's showing up, so far.
I did look up some online previews/reviews before it arrived, a lot of the writes expressed how heavy it was, compared to prior models; whilst I don't have any of those prior models, it feels perfectly acceptable and especially so when you judge how solid and well built it is. This is not a device that's going to start flexing when you press a bit too hard on the keyboard.
I'm pretty competent IT user, despite being pretty ill when I received it yesterday: it was very easy to get into removing unnecessary installations, i.e. McAfee as I already have a current subscription to another product, but good to see that the Samsung update software provides a quick route to reinstalling what you might remove.
Once I'd installed my usual suite of software, I went looking to try out the connectivity options to my existing Samsung devices.
The Your Phone connection worked flawlessly, I've tried this on my older desktop PC and didn't find it at all useful, but the variant that Samsung seems to have provided for their own devices will actually be useful and I'll be keeping it engaged whenever I'm using this laptop.
I then went on to try using the Second Screen functionality, the ability to use a Samsung tablet as more real estate for your display, like having a second monitor attached but wirelessly. The biggest problem was accessing the function on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, the software on the laptop says to just tap on the Second Screen button on the pull down selection of the main screen. Despite being updated to OneUI 5, I had to, instead, open up Smart View, go into the settings and then access a hidden developer menu to activate it; it looks like this will be the case going forward, so, hopefully, Samsung might patch/update this feature so that it can be accessed more readily, it's a useful function and will be disappointing if it cannot be used easily.
