Has some flaws

I'm coming from a Previous HP a ENVY 6000 with the ink subscription. Like allot of people now we are looking to cut back and costs and this printer with its innovative ink top up system seems to fit the bill. Lets start with the good first. The ink system top up system is very simple to use and spill proof so no worried about messy ink going everywhere. The printer quality exceeds the previous envy 6020 but does less pages per minutes and as such thats the trade off. The printer scanning and copying seems on par with previous models in that its adequate and works quickly however anyone taking scanning photos seriously would have a dedicated machine for this with higher dpi. What lets this machine down is the rear paper feed that just takes so much compared to the previous printers tray and it feels rather flimsy and old fashioned compared the envy 6020 built in drawer. The paper out put plastic is flimsy and does not look like it will last. The setup process could be simplified with instructions in every language except english. The printer feels flimsy made and much more fragile than my older model despite over 3 times the cost. The printer also makes an annoying beep after setup that will not go away until you update the firmware and this is not mentioned anywhere online either except a response on a HP forum from a tech. I encountered an error setting up and registering my printer when I did not accept advanced analytics the setup process does not complete meaning no point in having an opt out option at all. Overall we will be keeping this as a replacement for the 6020 but it needs to find a new place to live compared to the smaller shelf we had the old one due to poor design of paper feed making it a larger footprint. You also need a sturdy table as this printer rocks about a bit when printing.
