Pro and cons, LG G3 65”…

Pros:
I have been using the LG G3 65” for a week and the LG G3 OLED TV was long awaited upgrade to our previous UE55F8000 55” (bought it new back in 2014). I can assure that LG OLED TV is the best I have ever seen. The picture quality is stunning and outstandingly bright in daylight. The black are really black compare to my Samsung TV. When watching some good quality 4K dolby vision contents, the Vivid mode really makes it pop in a way I have not seen before. Using this with my switch, the G3 elevates gaming on a whole new level. With 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs, 4K 120Hz support and ultra low latency, the G3 is truly every gamer's dream, I can’t compare with my current tv.
The sound on LG G3 seems better than my current TV, but I use it with a surround system, so I prefer the surround system rather than the LG G3. The surround sound need abit of fiddling to get it communicate with the LG, especially the sound volume control from the LG.
In summary, the G3 is a definite step up from my current tv in many areas. Especially the picture quality when set to the brighter picture modes. The LG is also more capable without connected devices, so makes for a simpler setup which is even simpler with the stylish flash wall mount. I highly recommend it! Now I wish I got the 77inch, since my wife told me my current tv size and LG size make no difference. (Really!!!!!!, my goodness). I have to wait till 2033 for my next 77” TV.
Cons:
I have difficulty register the LG TV for extending warranty on the LG UK website, it gives me an error saying I need to contact customer service. That what I did, for my surprised and they quote “Regarding the TV registration, I would like to clarify that while it is not mandatory to register the unit, you can still benefit from the one-year warranty provided by LG. However, upon further investigation, I found that the model you mentioned is not eligible for the 5-year panel warranty. It appears that the 5-year warranty may be a promotional campaign offered by the retailer”. Finger cross my current favourite LG G3 tv last more than 5 years. :)
Kind Regards,
