My Home Cinema

When i said i was going to replace our 42” TV with a 65” one the other half was lets just say not impressed. This was not helped any further when the box turned up and was absolutely massive…
Unboxing the G3 was a simple affair with the usual expected contents and one new one for me which was the hanging guide (a big sheet of paper which helps you to align where the TV and Bracket will sit).
Now it actually took me 2 days to put the TV up with work and on the first night not actually putting the guide in the right place and putting the bracket too low. Most prob best not to try using the guide when tired to avoid school boy errors like mine. Lol
After getting the bracket in the right place it was time to get ready to hang the TV, first point of call was to place the HDMI cables in along the back of the TV across the special tracks which help keep them in place and aligned.
Cables in and it was time to hang the beauty on the wall. G3 on the wall and cables all plugged in it was time to turn it on…. Setting up was a breeze and easy to follow.
With everything set up it was time to get some proper content on the screen and all I can say is WOW…. I kid you not I felt like I was in the cinema (I should know I had just been the night before). Lights off the screen blended into the darkness as the blacks really were blacking. Colours and characters popped and I really was just in awe at the beauty of the screen.
Sound through eArc worked perfectly and really helped add to the home cinema experience.
All I can say is LG have truly created a masterpiece with the G3. I am looking forward to many a more home Movie nights.
