You Will Not Be Disappointed

I finally decided to take the plunge and drop some cash on a new TV. After extensive research, I settled on the LG OLED EVO G3, which, as you can imagine, is a significant upgrade on my previous TV from 2012. I wanted something special to adorn the wall of my new living room, a centrepiece that will wow friends and family, and all signs pointed to this TV.
The TV feels very well made with high quality materials used in all areas. The TV looks fantastic on the wall, with sleek thin bezels around the edges of the screen and cable management built into the back so that annoying cables can be easily hidden inside some trunking or, even better, inside the wall cavity, but it's a shame that the power cable can't be detached to make this easier.
The LG OLED EVO G3 truly excels with its picture quality. I have never seen a TV picture with this level of clarity, contrast and brightness. It is quite incredible. 4K looks sensational, especially when HDR is available. 1080p/720p upscaling is superb and breathes new life into terrestrial channels which haven’t embraced 4K as quickly as they should have done. You really have to see it to believe it.
The operating system works well and gives quick access to all of your favourite channels and streaming services. By default, all of the top streaming services are pre-installed but there is a comprehensive app store available containing more niche streaming services, such as BritBox and Twitch.
Other nice touches include the addition of Apple’s AirPlay technology, meaning you can mirror your iPhone, iPad or Mac screen to the TV at the click of a button.
In conclusion, you should not hesitate to buy this TV. It is, quite simply, the best TV on the market by a mile. You will not be disappointed.
