I am very particular about my AV gear and only go for the best products on the market, within budget and bang for buck. My main Lounge TV was the eye searing 2000 nit Samsung QE75Q900R. A mighty TV that has served me well in my well lit lounge. In my bedroom I have a LG 65OLED W9 series. It was fine for my bedroom, however the brightness was not enough for my lounge. The colours, contrast and black were much better on my W9, however the brightness and HDR was better on the Samsung.
Come in the the 65 G3 OLED from LG. The best of both worlds. The brightness of the Samsung, and the blacks and contrasts of LG OLED TV. Dare I say the perfect TV. It averages around 1300 nits and can hit 2000 nits and is perfect for my well lit lounge. Yet on movie nights the blacks and colour are much better, making my Samsung, which was no slouch, a bit washed out. The TV is feature rich and has you covered for all the acronyms. HDR, DOLBY VISION, ATMOS etc.
In my opinion you can't get a better TV. So go out and grab yourself one.
