Jabra Evolve2 55
Great headset for video…

I've been using the Jabra Evolve 2 55 for a week now, as an upgrade from a standard wired headset, and here are my thought:
Comfort - the earphone material is cool, soft and looks easy to clean if required, and the band on top is nicely padded to support the little weight there is of the headset.
Setup - the provided USB C dongle did all the bluetooth pairing, so all that's needed is to plug it into your laptop, and turn the headset on. I wasn't able to install the Jabra software on my work laptop (an NHS restriction - no fault of Jabra) so I just downloaded the Android app and connected via my phone, which I believe allows me to adjust the same settings of the desktop software. I also tested by pairing the headset directly to the laptop (without the dongle space being taken up) and this worked just the same (actually better - as it reports the headset power level - which seems to get at least a day or 2 of several hours of use so far- and easy to top up with usb c).
Functions - my biggest concern was moving to a wireless headset that was fiddly and I'd miss the controls that usually sat on the wire, but the Jabra has a great feature where you tilt the boom mic up and it mutes you, then back down again to unmute- for anyone spending time on video calls this is a great timesaver, and fully supported in microsoft teams for those who use that as their platform. It also feature 'during mute' reminders, battery level reminders and other verbal and non verbal notifications to keep you informed abotu hat the headset is doing.
Sound quality - this is great, and the noise cancelling feature really helps keep distractions out
In summary, this is a great headset I'm happy to be using, and would recommend.
