Another winning AEG appliance

I was drawn to the AEG dishwashers on the strength of the AEG washer/dryer I'd just bought, which I love! Our kitchen is very small, so we can only budget the space for a slimline model, but as a family of four we get through plenty of dirty cutlery and crockery so our dishwasher is always put through it's paces!
First impressions were good - the machine looks nice enough, although it would be nicer to have a touch panel rather than chunky buttons. The racks seem to be very decent quality and I'm a big fan of the rubberised section at the top to keep glasses stood upright.
One thing I wasn't keen on was the cutlery basket. It's smaller than my previous dishwasher and it seems it's not hard for the cutlery to inadvertently stack up on each other, meaning some items come out dirty when the wash has finished. The space inside was decent enough, although I did have a hard time trying to stack the dirty dishes properly - perhaps we just have strange shaped crockery?!
The machine is pretty quiet which is very much appreciated as it's running two times a day! I also love the air dry feature that opens the door at the end of the cycle to allow the steam out and help the contents dry faster.
All told, I would recommend this dishwasher - it certainly seems like it will be reliable and will last a long time.
