Medium Cost, High Performance

This tablet is a great option for someone wanting to buy something with decent power without breaking the bank, without settling for a low cost and low longevity cheap option.
Initial impressions are positive, with a premium-feeling frame that looks good and allows for excellent heat dissipation. If you have a Samsung device already, transferring your data is made incredibly easy, if a little time consuming. It offers both a wired and wireless version, and I successfully copied my data and settings from my phone to the tablet with no difficulty. A word of warning though: there is no charging brick, and the cable provided is USB-C to C, so ensure you have suitable charging options!
It continues to please with use - I've had no issues so far, apps open in reasonable time and the battery life is very good. The S-Pen that comes with the tablet is also very satisfying to use, with a lot of in-built features that are fun to use, including a mode that allows you to hand write messages that get transcribed automatically (and quite accurately). I've tried drawing on Krita with it with some success too.
If you have other Samsung products they can synchronise smoothly. With my Samsung phone connected, I can make calls and texts from the tablet. Samsung also offers an official keyboard case that connects at the pogo points on the side of the tablet, but I opted for a cheaper third party bluetooth keyboard and case that works well too. I should note here that some third party cases don't fit well and can also obscure the fingerprint scanner somewhat.
In conclusion, I am currently very happy with this tablet. Make sure to look out for the various offers Samsung often has when making a purchase from them.
