Firstly before you order this tv , make sure you have room to access the hosue with the box.I nearly ahd to refuse the delivery but the delivery guys managed to get the box up one flight of stairs and into my flat.
My current tv was on its last legs so saw the 75 inch LG QNED86 4K Smart TV 2024 on a promotion website and decided to try and get on the campaign to review it. After unloading the tv from the box and installing the the very heavy but functional stand it was time to tune in the terrestrial channels and link up my other av hardware to the HDMI connections which all went very smoothly. The LG setup menus are easy to understand and had the tv up and running in around 15 minutes with settings suited to my watching style and what I watch.
The good thing about the qned tv over oled tvs is in large rooms like mine with lots of windows there is less reflection on the screen which s why I went for QNED tv over Oled.
The sound from the internal speakers is good but If you are used to using soundbars or av set ups you do notice a lacking of bass in the speakers o I will hopefully getting a soundbar in the next couple of weeks.
The apps on the tv load and run very quickly and I am very impressed in how quickly they load and how they automatically set the picture quality especially on things like BBC iplayer which automatically went to HDR mode to reveal a very bright and crystal clear picture which is especially for for sports and nature programmes.
I received a discount on this via a promotion but would have probably bought this tv at full price but more than likely the 65 inch version if at full price.
Overall I am very impressed with the ease of use of tv, the setup of the tv and the functionality of the remote which is very sensitive but easy to use.The picture quality is sharp , bright and with the correct set up you will be very happy with this tv in your home
