Music Frame
Replacing multiroom audio…
29/05/2024 07:19
The Samsung Music frame sits proudly in a house with 8” multi room audio already built in. Why? The quality of the audio is far above that which can be offered by ceiling speakers yet it’s design allows for the solution to be hidden away - perfect.
In terms of connectivity I was pleased to see the item have chromecast and airplay built in - this allows it to quickly integrate with the existing home audio via likes of google home or simply from Spotify. For those who don’t want that then you can fall back to likes of bluetooth
The quality of audio is exceptional - if anything it’s a little loud requiring some tweaks on my end such that volume up/down on my phone didn’t flip between background and noise complaint levels.
The picture on the device is replaceable but you’ll have a little bit of an argument over which relatives to crop out of the family wedding picture so it fits the square - as I say, this thing is loud - allowing you to drown out any background noise that might arise from such discussions.
In summary, a high quality and attractive device - I look forward to buying a further music frame and pairing them to allow for the stereo speaker option around a TV - doing away with the ugly sound bar and having a lengthy discussion over what picture we put into the second music frame!
