Pretty & good basic…

Am accustomed to blowdrying my hair in the mornings daily and have used a few hairdryers in my lifetime . This is my 2nd Philips hairdryer and I'm glad to say they have vastly improved the technology and user-friendliness of their hairdryers.
Pros:
- Lightweight. As my hair is long and need some time to get the whole head of hair dry, I appreciate the fact that this hairdryer is relatively lightweight and hence makes it much easier (on the wrist and arms) to manoeuvre.
- Few and easy functions. There are fewer buttons to toggle around which simplifies the whole hairdrying process. There are only 3 temperature settings (1 of which is already stated as the optimal temp), 1 turbo button and 1 cold air button to toggle around. So users don't have to push levers up and down or toggle between multiple settings to get a decent blowout.
- Gentle heat. The main optimal temperature is already indicated on the hairdryer, and the heat is gentle on my sensitive scalp, yet warm enough to dry my hair easily within minutes.
- Good frizz-free blowout. Its ionic function ensures the end blowout is rather frizz-free with just application of pre-heating essence on the hair ends.
- Useful and practical accessories. Hairdryer comes with a focus nozzle and a diffuser, both of which are practical and useful for a standard decent blowout, which meets my daily needs well.
- Pretty in pink. Users who go for aesthetics will love that this hairdryer comes in a very pleasing light shade of baby pink with gold accents.
Cons:
- Still quite noisy. The hairdryer still makes quite a bit noise (compared to some competitor brands), especially when you use the turbo mode.
- Not good for travelling. It is still a usual bulky hairdryer that can be cumbersome to pack for travel.
All in all, I would still recommend this hairdryer as a good entry level of hairdressing tool for home use.
