So much real estate for…

Prior to owning the LG C2 42”, I had 2 pairs of Computer monitors on the family desk. Length wise, they took up more horizontal space due to the bezels. Here, I have an entire 4K screen where I can fit four 1080p 21” screens.
The blacks are very black. It feels like I have a wall where I can drag my PC monitor to anywhere I see fit on my desk. It is that big and very useful up close.
Due to work being sensitive, I gave a mockup in my picture of how I can fit multiple documents and still not fill up the entire screen and watch a YouTube tutorial at the same time making the time you spent working at home very productive. I never knew how much I needed this. Thank goodness I chance upon LG’s 42” TV which I feel is just right in filling up the space for how close I am to the TV.
I am using PC Input on the TV and I am amazed at how responsive and fast the TV is. I did not need to engage Game Mode or anything of that sort to make this TV responsive. Such attention to details of what a PC owner needs is much appreciated.
On to the screen, being this up close, the screen can get extremely bright. Brighter than even my PC monitor.
One big difference coming from my old PC monitors is the contrast. Now I know the true meaning of contrast. The blacks have never looked this deep and dark. My PC monitors have what I can describe as an LCD backlight glow. My old PC monitor’s blacks appear very grey in comparison. I have truly been missing out on such a great panel technology and should have gotten an OLED sooner. It is that good.
On to HDR, it can get really blinding when you are this close to the screen. And how it fills your peripheral vision makes watching a movie so immersive and jaw-dropping.
I love the internal apps on the C2. They are very fast to launch and very smooth to navigate. The remote with the pointer makes searching for content a lot faster including when pressing each letters to search a title. I’ve been using the internal apps such as Netflix and Apple TV. They are so responsive than when using these apps on an external box. And without an external box, it makes my desk a lot more clutter-free too without extra cables running to the TV. This TV does everything.
So, if you are looking for an all-in-one TV, definitely get this TV. It has local media channel app like MeWatch, YouTube and more right on the TV. No need to waste even more money getting an external streaming box. So much cost-savings. This is truly a smart TV.
