StanbyME is versatile!

Unboxing:
The LG StanbyME box is really heavy but it doesn't need 2 people to unbox and set the product up. It is really easy to unpack and assemble the device alone. It took me about less than 15 mins to assemble it!
Setup:
The setup is unfortunately not that smooth. While setting up the product via my iPhone 13 Pro, I encountered issues such as:
- Getting stuck at 25% screen
- Clicking agree on "Tun on the TV via Wi-Fi" screen does nothing
- Clicking log in on "Log in to TV with Your Account" screen does nothing
- Clicking on skip for the above 2 does nothing too
I had to do the setup on the device itself to be able to reach the homescreen successfully
Hardware:
The device has a large 27 inch and on paper it does not sound large, but when you are viewing the nice matte screen up front, it does feel huge as you are not sitting 1-2m away from it. The device has a nice range of screen movement to cater to different watching modes and this include sitting down on a chair, standing up and lying on the bed. The wheels are smooth and you can drag the product along well. Sound is loud and clear with good enough quality to listen to your music and watching movies. The mobile clamp also works well with both my iPhone 13 Pro and my 11" iPad Pro 2021. It is a pity that part of the screen will be blocked when clamped. The remote that comes with it works well, unfortunately the product itself does not have a place to hold it when not in used, so you have to keep the remote separately. I took the liberty to 3D print a holder, which clamps onto the pole of the device. It can hold a Nintendo Switch (and various other devices) and a power bank nicely and makes it more convenient to use it around the house. You can download it here if you have a 3D printer: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5363819
Battery life is acceptable at around 3h as stated but of course would be better if it could last longer as you would be constantly worrying that the battery dies off halfway while you are using it un-tethered.
Software:
The LG webOS software is generally fine. The only gripe I have it with the touchscreen where some apps doesn't really fully utilise it. It is not consistent throughout the OS. An example would be YouTube where the touchscreen simply doesnt work for scrolling and...
