Surpassed all my expectations...…

The Set-up
It is a really simple, step by step, process and the guide is clear and easy to follow. You do need someone to help you because of the size of the TV. Nothing that wasn’t anticipated for a 65” TV.
From the un-boxing, you'll notice Samsung's level of attention on the details: The way the TV is wrapped and protected and how logically they placed each component inside the box based on how you are going to use them later during the set-up. One detail caught my attention: They put 2 protective plastics on top of the wholes that you use to fix the base. At first, I thought that it was part of the tape that holds the protective wrap, but, when I finished installing the bases, I noticed that the tape was there to protect the TV from scratching during the base installation (very smart!).
The one connect device is very simple to plug in and the little add-on plastic cover for the cables (that routes them to one of the bases so you can hide them) it’s a nice touch.
The Features
Once everything plugged and ready to go, you get the first interactive experience with the TV. The registration and wireless configuration. For those of us who have done set ups for Play Station consoles before, it’s a familiar experience: A qwerty keyboard and an interface that gives you suggestions on words, names, email extensions (@yahoo.com / @hotmail.com / @gmail.com). The remote is very sensitive to the touch, but you get the hang of it quickly.
Another nice touch is how the One Connect recognizes the devices. It took about 10 seconds to recognize the X1 Box from Xfinity, the PS4 and the Apple TV. Also, the remote, immediately, was capable of controlling all devices.
Once all of this is done, I got to the main menu screen where it shows what’s on TV and, at the bottom, a banner with all the apps. Netflix was right there and I recently got an email from them offering 4K programming for $2.00 more, so I jumped into Netflix, logged in and did the upgrade, because I wanted to see 4K right away (One piece of advice: If you don’t have this service, get it. Netflix is adding a lot of 4K programming, including their series).
To test the image quality, I searched for a show called “Moving Art: Underwater”. I highly recommend it if you want to understand what the fuzz is all about when people talks about the quality of black and the color volume in TVs. It is absolutely amazing!
I already invited some friends to watch a game this weekend and and I’ll be sure to share their reactions.
