I am really impressed at the picture quality and how easy it is to navigate the interface. Unboxing is a bit tedious by yourself. The bezels are small about ¼ inch all around. It has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports making this future proof. Overall build of the TV is great, but the stand is wobbly. Running the initial setup was quick and easy. Access to all your web apps are at a click of the home button and LG content store. The TVs next gen processor is set up to make sure your most used apps are always at the touch of a button which is awesome and convenient. Every device I plugged in was recognized by webOS. Especially, LG’s SK9Y soundbar using arc. I was able to control my Xbox, TiVo, Apple TV directly from the remote. The TV is a lot brighter for HDR content compared to my other LG TV. Me and my family tested it watching Captain Marvel twice in a darkroom and the dark's and colors were a lot crisper then last year’s model. This really impressed me and my mother. I also tested it playing Division 2 at 1440P and VRR(known as Freesync) on Xbox. The TV auto detects game consoles and turns on low latency mode. I’m really surprised that the TV supports 1440P when the specs state they don’t and that is a plus for me as an avid gamer.
As a consumer I would recommend the LG Nano 9 to my friends and family. Everything about this TV was above and beyond what I expected. There are a lot of small things like the magic remote functionality, HDMI 2.1, WebOS. I can go on listing the positives and comparing but you really do get your money’s worth when you go with LG.
Also, I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.
