Very elegant piece of machinery

When I found out we were getting a new dishwasher my first reaction was “what’s wrong with the old one?“
I am the kind of person who keeps something until it’s no longer fixable. After all, I dishwasher is the dishwasher? Right?
I was wrong.
This thing looks like was carved out of a single block of stainless steel. It’s a work of art. Speaking of work, does it ever! All we do is knock off the loose food, put it in and let it go. The auto setting is smart enough that it figures out what it needs to do. I love the fact that it’s got a special high-pressure section for pots and pans. My hands don’t work the way they used to and getting into the nooks and crannies of some of my pots can be difficult. This thing is like a pressure washer for dishes. That being said, it is still gentle for the glasses on the upper rack. As everybody has said, this thing is quiet, so quiet that if you don’t look at it you don’t know it’s running. You need to have the chime so you know that it’s on or off. I like the fact that I can be somewhere else in the house and check on my Alexa how much time is left. It does take a while to clean, but because it’s so thorough it’s worth it.
This is a significant step forward as the dishwasher goes. It cleans the dishes so well you think they are brand new. Because it does not use heat to dry the dishes, I don’t worry about having melted plastic. It has a lot of capacity and it’s very efficient in its use of space. You can put a lot of stuff in there!
