Great for a small family!…

My husband and I live alone and don't create a ton of dishes, but we do cook from scratch a great deal and so dishes do tend to collect. It's no fun waiting for a full load when there are just two of us, so I was happy to upgrade to this model, with its technically smaller capacity than our old dishwasher.
I'm very pleased with it - one good meal prep session typically produces a full load, with cutting boards fitting nicely standing up on the sides and not having to take a full shelf. The "hot zones" in the front work fantastic for grimy pots and the jets from the sides and top do a great job at making sure the bottom pots don't block the upper level from getting nice and clean. Finally, I love how QUIET it is! Standing right beside it, it can be hard to tell if it's actually running, or if I am just hearing someone taking a shower upstairs. Noise level wasn't a particular concern for me, but it is impressive nonetheless.
My only complaint isn't a real sore spot - but it does play the same Samsung song when finished as our Samsung washer and dryer. If you're familiar with this, it's a LONG song, and I do wish there was a slight variation that separated it from our other Samsung appliances, but really, this isn't a big deal. We're very happy with this dishwasher for the two of us, and are glad we upgraded. As usual, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Samsung appliances of any kind. :)
