120HZ of Greatness

So let me start this off by saying that I have an LG OLED55C6P. This was LG's 2nd generation OLED. I absolutely love the TV. Still have it, moved it into the the bedroom now :)
Now with this 65inch and being four generations newer I expected quite a few improvements. Boy did I get them. Setup, and I cannot stress this enough, was a breeze for me. Arc(eArc) in this instance is substantially better than what I had previously. I connected my soundbar with all the connections and the TV immediately recognized it. That was such a welcoming feature that I never expected. I struggled mightily with the old TV, making it that easy will help a lot of other customers as well. Once I set it all up I put through it's paces.
One thing that I can do now is that I can actually game on this through my PC, which has been something I've been wanting to do for a long time. The fact that this has the capabilities to run 4K at 120HZ refresh rate is just amazing. Gaming looks absolutely gorgeous on it, and I can't wait for the new systems come Holiday season.
I then threw a couple movies through it to see how the TV held up. John Wick was the first movie, reason being is that it has great dark scenes and some really colorful moments. The Movie looked absolutely incredible. I knew the picture was going to be better, but I didn't expect the sound to also improve through my soundbar. The sound might be placebo because I have something new, but when I played some Marvel movies it just continually sounded better. It's possible that the eArc has something to do with this, for it allows more bandwidth through a proper HDMI cord, but I don't have equipment using or having the capabilities of HDMI 2.1.
Lighting, be it light or in a dark room the TV is absolutely phenomenal. Glares from windows or other screens don't bother it. TV does an excellent job adjusting for whatever room you put it in.
None the less, for someone like me, this is huge huge improvement. I absolutely love the TV in the little time that I have had it. For anyone on the fence thinking about making the jump from an older TV, do it. You won't regret it. LG makes an absolutely excellent television.
