Can't take my eyes off…

Unboxing: The TV came in a sturdy box, definitely heavier than I thought, but not a bad thing. I also own a 2017 65" LG OLED and it was similar weight. The packaging was easy to remove. We installed the two very sturdy, weighted legs and plugged it in.
First impressions and installation: Wow. Coming from a 65" I didn't really think the ten extra inches would really matter, but it fills my living room so much more. It is thinner and has a narrower bevel than my LG 65". This translate to a sharper look. Note that we ended up wall mounting this two days later. Mounting was not difficult. It was heavy but with two people, took less than twenty minutes. The VESA patterns matched up perfectly and the rear housing seemed stable enough.
Features: Okay, this is where the TV really shines. I have Apple Home installed through my entire house. Our family breathes in Apple ecosystem and uses products from iPhones and MacBooks to HomePods and our entire smart home system is Apple integrated. Our 2017 LG did not have any Apple related features (minus the Apple TV streaming app). This TV is the pinnacle of Apple integration in a non-Apple product. HomeKit is built right into the TV and you can use the TV as part of Apple Home (see attached image) which means you can integrate it into your automations or triggers. It also comes with AirPlay 2 which is probably one of the biggest features. Being able to stream video and photos from my phone or Mac with one click and barely any lag makes my life so much easier. The response time is not sluggish. It is fast, snappy, and feels very 2020. Also has a lot of other great built-in apps like Spotify, Hulu, Disney Plus, Netflix. There is a LG IP channel list as well. We don't really use it, but it's free IP-based TV, even without a cable TV provider.
Quality: The images are sharp. My OLED does a little better with true black, but this one is enough that it doesn't stand out, which is a good thing. Playing my PS4 games on this is amazing in HDR. I'm excited to see how my PS5 games will look on this later this year. Also this TV does well with glare. Haven't had too much of an issue as it is next to a window.
Sound: I'm not a sound guru, but it sounds more than adequate. It is loud when it needs to be.
Overall: Would recommend.
I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
