This range was a nice ad for the price but am not missing my old range. The induction to on this model works quite well, being able to boil water almost instantly is great. The boost feature works great to get cooking started quickly. Baking however is now a babysitting task for me. The connection feature in the top oven cooks things overly fast on top and not thoroughly through. Trying to bake cookies is horrendous, a process that requires flipping the cookies to get them from scorching on top. The bottom oven which actually does have what is called a normal “bake” option is far from what I expect as well. Overall the oven(s) are more Halle than they’re worth. Also the lack of a solid partition between the top and bottom compartments seems like a cheap way out for Samsung to make a “double/dual oven”. The smart features which I originally thought would be a nice to have are a never used feature most likely because of their lack of being easy to use. Having to constantly push a Smart control button before being able to utilize certain features is a nuisance. In particular if the controls are locked (one good feature) smart control is worthless and preheating is out of the question until you manually unlock the controls on the front of the unit. A lack of everyday thought process for usability shows through clearly with the smart features.
