Great OLED TV at a reasonable…

I received my new LG 55” OLED55B1PUA 4k OLED TC w/AI ThinQ a few weeks ago. First impression after un-boxing the TV is how incredibly thin it is. Since the OLED have self-lit pixels, they don’t need the back light an LED TV needs. This makes the black on this TV very realistic. The ghosting or cloudy look I have on my regular LED 4k TV is pretty much non-existent on this OLED. The difference is quite stunning.
Another impressive feature is the Filmmaker Mode. It turns off the motion smoothing while keeping the original aspect ratios, colors and frame rates the director intended. This way you see the movie the way it was intended to be seen.
As far as using this for gaming it is quite a huge step up compared to my old LED TV. This TV has a true 120Hz refresh rate and is cable of 1ms response time. Makes for very smooth gaming with no lag or blurring. There are two HDMI ports that are 4K @ 120Hz so you can have you game system and 4k Blu-Ray player hooked up at the same time.
I also watch quite a bit of different sports. The OLED Motion Pro really helps reduce any motion blur you can normally get with fast screen action you see in sports like football, racing, etc.
Watching 4k movies is where this TV really shines. With Dolby Vision HDR the colors pop off the screen and the dark scenes are light years ahead of any I have seen on a TV. I notice things in darker movies that I never saw watching on my old LED TV. This TV is just the best I have seen if you really enjoy watch movies.
Overall, I am very impressed with the performance of this LG OLED TV. Anyone looking to make the jump from LED to OLED will not be disappointed with this model. Great OLED performance without breaking the bank to make the leap to the incredible difference an OLED.. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest feedback.
