My husband got this monitor for his home/office setup. I didn't know he was getting it until this large box got delivered. It said monitor, but looked more like a TV. My husband told me LG repurposed the 48" OLED to be a monitor.
He had dual 27" LG monitors for many years, high end when they were new. He loves them and was surprised he changed. He told me he was hoping for a new computer experience, where a single monitor can take the place of two using the splitting software. The bonus is when he sits back to watch YouTube, now it's on a 48" screen. And oh boy does that make a difference. We looked at a few music videos, then looked at some home pictures. He also had Excel and a few other programs up and running, and they look so big on the screen.
I absolutely would recommend this beast of a monitor if you have the room. It really is a game changer in my opinion.
