Apple Cider Vinegar Clarifying Shampoo
Luxurious clarifying shampoo!…

A little bit about my hair: I am white and I have type 3A hair. The hairs themselves are fine but there are a lot of them. I struggle a lot with curls getting weighed down. I generally clarify with every wash to avoid product build up and wash at least twice a week.
I was afraid the container would be glass based on the picture but they're not, they're flexible plastic. I was also worried it would smell like apple cider vinegar but it doesn't, at all - it smells fresh and lightly herbal, like benzoin and maybe a little eucalyptus. The shampoo feels very thick, you have to really squeeze the bottle to get the product out, and a little goes a long way. It lathers up beautifully into a thick foam.
I like that the first ingredients are aloe and coconut water, and I love the inclusion of apple cider vinegar which is widely reknown for it's ability to gently remove build up. This contains olefin sulfonate, which is excellent at clarifying but may dry out some hair. Unfortunately, this contains PEG-12 dimethicone (a non-water-soluble silicone) and polyquaternium 10, both of which can weigh hair down. This shampoo would not be good if you're following the Curly Girl method. That said, if your hair is thicker and not prone to dryness, I would definitely give this a try!
I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.
