Good HP Printer

The HP Deskjet 4133e pulls its weight. Unboxing & downloading the app was a seamless transition into the setup process. Highly recommend taking 5-10 uninterrupted minutes to set up because if the process is delayed in any way, it is easiest to unplug & restart. The insertion of the ink cartridges was easy to figure out, & the first test prints were easily accessible in the app. The printer prints very well & has a high-quality print baseline.
Using this printer for design homework has been perfect because of the AirPrint feature. The printer's ability to talk to my mobile device is very nice for printing directly from my class app, as well as my laptop. The scanner bed on top is great for scanning high-quality sketches and making copies of my templates. The top completely opens for easy access to the larger glass surface, which is helpful for working on projects involving physical media distortion.
Their hp plus program sounds very nice, especially if you are a person who uses paper daily. Being a primarily digital person, I am still unsure if this would be beneficial for me. I have yet to fully understand it & read through it.
Two qualms, while it is a very good printer -
I have now learned how much I'd like to use double-sided printing. But more importantly, having the ability to print 11" wide paper. The max width for this paper is 8.5". I work with Ledger size paper a lot, 11x17, & that should be something to consider when looking for a printer.
The HP Instant Ink program seems to be very useful. I really find it useful that when your printer ink hits a certain point, new ink refills are sent to your address so you don't run out or have to run out to the store and buy more. I think that is very useful and not just piling up a bunch of ink and not being used as well.
I was provided a special deal on the printer package in exchange for providing my honest feedback.
