Well done, Samsung!

I planned on mounting it to the bracket beneath my TV initially, but the bar alone weighs about 10 ½ Lbs. so I set it on the dresser at first to compare this to my old soundbar.
I tried connecting the new soundbar to the TV by Bluetooth and it sounded horrible! It was very tinny and shallow. Then I connected it via the HDMI ARC port, and I was extremely pleased with the full and rich sound I obtained, especially after adjusting the tone and subwoofer volume. It truly blew away my old soundbar. The sound was equally impressive when I connected it to my iPhone via Bluetooth, so I don’t know what the problem was with my first attempt connecting to the TV via Bluetooth.
Still, could I mount it beneath the TV? This new bar is over twice the weight of my old one and I noticed that Samsung doesn’t suggest mounting it to a TV, but what about the metal brackets? After checking the limit of the TV mount and finding out it’s 125 pounds, then checking the max limit of the soundbar brackets at 25 lbs., I decided to try and It worked out fine, but I would suggest spending a good deal of time at the local home improvement store finding the right bolts, nuts, and washers to secure it.
The bottom line is that I can recommend this soundbar for its beautiful sound, adjustable tone settings, variety of sound modes, HDMI ARC option which syncs without a hitch and the other options available. I especially appreciate the vocal option. When turned on it increases the dialog sound so it’s easier to hear over the music in the background. Well done, Samsung!
