HW-Q910C
Very impressive

I was excited to receive the Samsung HW-Q910C soundbar. In the last couple of years, I have slowly been in the process of replacing older stereo systems in rooms, upgrading them with soundbars. I have two other excellent Samsung soundbars, the HW-Q950A and HW-Q990C. Both were flagships when released, so it gives me excellent reference points to compare to the HW-Q910C.
In the box is the soundbar, the subwoofer, the rear speaker kit, a remote, power plugs, HDMI cable, and brackets to wall mount the soundbar. In comparison to the others, the only disappointment is the rear speaker kit isn't truly wireless. It has the box that connects to the soundbar, and then speaker wire to go to the rear speakers. I will say that the speaker cable length is really decent. On the flip side, the power cables aren't long enough - they never are. It's a 9.1.2 system, so I was hoping for some decent surround and some oomph.
I set this up in my basement. Low ceiling, but a fairly large room. Setting up was easy for me as I have set up several Samsung soundbars. I registered it with the Smart Things app, because I find it easier to change settings that way instead of the remote. The display on the front of the soundbar is what I consider the older style small white lights as opposed to an LED display. It's displayed on the front, but sometimes a little hard to read. With the app, don't need to worry about that.
Once I set it up, I put it to the test. I have Fios, so I just checked out a few movies, and some sports (the main usage in the basement). I was pleasantly surprised with the overall sound quality. Once I played a little with the app settings, tuning up the various speaker levels, it sounded impressive. The subwoofer is fairly large, and it's evident when an action scene came on. Really solid bass. The voices were clear and audible, and right off the bat I could sense the Atmos as sounds were coming from around me, not just front and rear.
Even though I had a nice older school receiver setup (5.1), the 910C sounded better overall (despite tall tower fronts and a 12" sub it replaced). I absolutely recommend this soundbar. Samsung does not disappoint when it comes to soundbars.
