Just overall an amazing monitor! Especially if it’s going to be your first 240hz monitor. The colors pop and isn’t too bright or dark. Also with it having a 0.03ms response time it’s a perfect monitor for playing games on. It utilizes hdmi 2.1, so it’s a perfect monitor to get the full 120fps for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. I switch between playing on a LG G3 OLED, and this one. Now the OLED has a noticeable difference in the colors and brightness, but possible 240fps is where this one excels for PC gaming.
When it comes to color and HDR, that’s one area I felt it lacked a bit. It gets decently bright, but lacks local dimming. The native contrast ratio isn’t very high. However, if you stick with SDR modes, I had no complaints about color accuracy. To be honest though, I wasn’t getting this monitor for the HDR/color.
The appeal for this one was gaming. This monitor has the ability to select 4 different overdrive modes. I found that “fast” was the best one. “Fastest” has too noticeable signs of overshoot. If you’re using refresh rates lower than 120fps I found the “normal” mode works best. This monitor features adaptive sync as well, but I found it got the same response time regardless of it being on or not.
Bottom line, this is great entry level monitor that has higher than entry level features!
