The sound is so much better…

The LG SQC1 sound bar was super easy to set up! As far as initial setup goes there's only a power cord and an optical in wire that connects to the TV for the audio. All in all it took about 5-10 minutes to get every thing hooked up and running! The sound bar also comes with mounting brackets as well if your TV is on mounted to a wall but as ours is on a stand they were not needed. The sound bar fits neatly under the TV and it definitely looks as though it belongs there, not out of place as I have noticed with some sound bars. My only two issues were that the Bluetooth subwoofer doesn't fit underneath my entertainment center, and that's more of an aesthetic thing, so I had to put it off to the side. The subwoofer as well has a connections status light on the power cord side of the box. It doesn't have a groove cut out on the power cord side so you can't lay it down on that side leaving the light visible when it's dark.
Despite those two mild cons, and again this is just a me con, not an overall con, it's a great sound bar for people wanting more sound depth when they're watching movies or gaming. It keeps anything I watch nice and loud and I don't have to almost max out the TV volume to hear everything. The most noticeable difference was what the subwoofer added to the sound. Every movie is more immersive, especially horror movies during quiet scenes with footstep or creaking or boards or thumps. It's like hearing someone in my own attic.
It also comes with a remote and has Bluetooth connectivity so you can use your phone to play music if you wanted to. The other thing I noticed was that there is a slight latency when sound is coming from both the TV and the sound bar. It's a fixable issue that I haven't tried to fix yet and I've just been having the TV on mute with just the sound bar for audio. Overall I am super happy with the LG SQC1!
