Curved Monitors Taken to…

Unfortunately, I did not get enough time to review all aspects of the monitor as I wanted to. As well. Please excuse the messy picture and the wood blocks. To adapt it to my office setup the monitor is so heavy even on my heavy duty 4 monitor stand I had to use wood to keep it upwards. With that said now onto the review. I did two separate setups, Gaming and on my home office setup. I got to test work and see the difference in the quality of photos. You’ll see my dog in one the bottom is this new G9.
Starting with Gaming: My brother did more intense testing with the gaming. But I got a chance to play assassins creed via PS5 on it. I have to say for me it was quite the experience compared to playing on a 60-inch tv this was just great I felt like I was more immersed in the game as the monitor was wrapping around me although I did get a little motion sick after 45 minutes, so I had to stop lol. From me and my brother on his other games it is a big screen, and, on some games, it does feel like it just stretches the picture a little too much in an awkward way it didn't bother me as much. The color is great, it is quite vivid if you change it depending on what game you are playing or what you are doing. Very responsive Frame Rate with FPS and Racing games. But this monitor excels in Racing! Over the shoulder games are fun because you can see more. FPS does take a little getting used to. In playing with the options, the black stabilizer and response time makes older games look like new such as Bloodborne. Comparing this to another brand 27" the 240 to 144hz it’s not super noticeable at first but the more you play the more you notice how much better it is. Compared to a 27 Flat the FPS blows it out of the water. If we had the money would probably buy 2 or 3 more of them.
For my testing alone I hooked it up to my home office system which is running Dual 2GB 4 Port Memory cards on a 128GB additional On-Board Ram. I used this monitor to replace 2 older 27" monitors on the bottom row and got a chance to test against 2 Samsung 32" flat and 4 Samsung 32" curved on the other side. This monitor is a game changer for me. I tried using the PIP mode and loved it as the Display port input and HDMI input for the right side. It was great splitting it up because there was no barrier between the two when moving screens around left to right, so I never missed anything I was working on. I will investigate buying another one!
