The King for a Reason

I was ecstatic to get the king of value for gaming and oled. The LG C4 is the perfect combination of high speed frame rates and beautiful OLED colors. Its added new processor (a reiteration of an older version i know) does do well to keep up with the latest changes of the last year although it is looking a little long in the tooth as other companies have started to update their mid level televisions. But what LG does well is combine all the features gamers and TV watchers want and that is very pleasant images and fast frames.
The brightness on this TV is nothing to scoff at either it looks very much imrpoved from OLEDs of old and definitely will be an eye catcher for anyone first experiencing OLED this is not normal. I did see some brighter TVs but this is definitely up there in brightness which was very impressive. When turning on the tv if you want to get the brightest modes you do have to switch off the energy efficiency mode for best results.
The sound is also surprisingly good for a television if in a pinch or if you can only have the TV speakers in a certain location it will work fine and actually produce a lot of depth. It does try to recreate dolby atmos sounds which was interesting but it is limited to the amount of speakers on the tv which was okay. The TV gets very loud and surprised me with the clarity up to about 50-60 there was very little loss in quality to my ear.
Gaming is a true joy with Nvidia Gsync offered on this TV you can easily plug in a PC with a nvidia card and get beautiful full frames in an instant. My Computer immediately recognized the television and that it had Gsync (remember to have your hdmi 2.0 cables ready).
This is really a value king in terms of getting very high end features in a mid range cost. the only drawback is the older processor that although can still pull its weight is showing signs of being older compared to the competition.
